All first-year students in the Faculty of Environment and Health Education who fall within any of the categories listed below are advised to hold on with the payment of their fees until further notice:
- Students with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) below 1.00
- Students with four (4) or more referred courses
In accordance with the Universityβs academic regulations, students who fall within these categories are liable to be withdrawn from the University.
Please note that withdrawal letters may be issued soon.
β οΈ Important Notice:
Students who proceed to pay their fees despite falling within the above categories may be required to apply for a refund, which could take time to process. Students are therefore advised to exercise caution.
CONTINUING STUDENTS (YEAR 2 TO YEAR 4)
Students progressing:
- from Year 2 to Year 3, and
- from Year 3 to Year 4
are also advised to hold on with the payment of their fees if they fall within any of the following categories:
- Having a CGPA below 1.00
- Having four (4) or more referred courses for the academic year after resit
Such students are likely to be placed on Academic Probation, in line with the Universityβs regulations.

Reference to these rules can be found in the AAMUSTED Studentsβ Handbook, Pages 21 and 22, Item 4.2 β Semester-by-Semester Progression and Resit of Examination Papers.
FURTHER COMMUNICATION
The Department will contact affected students for further discussion and guidance on the appropriate steps to take.

- Regularly check your official student email and departmental notices
- Comply fully with University academic regulations
